Back by popular demand, FACTS is thrilled to have Pam Carnochan return to teach her fibre art technique, Watercolour with Wool. Using needle felting techniques, Pam will show you how to create one of a kind landscapes with wool fibre from her farm that she dyes herself. During the class you will make a small sample and a 8” x 10” finished work.
It is the perfect workshop to free up your creativity and release some tension. This social class requires lots of action stabbing a felting needle while you create your own unique landscape. Pam will offer a new way to look at creative practice as she suggests different perspectives and avenues to look at your work during the session.

Pam is an artist, a farmer and an outdoor enthusiast. And this combination makes her art refreshing and her method appealing. She shears the wool from her sheep, washes and dyes it, and then felts it into landscape paintings. The work she has titled Watercolour with Wool, and the method is felting using both wet and dry (needle) felting techniques to create the images. She has had the privilege of teaching her techniques at the Algonquin Art Centre, the McMichael Art Gallery in Kleinburg, and in numerous schools, service clubs and art organizations over the past 10 years. Pam has been a member of the Muskoka Autumn Studio Tour, The Artists of the Limberlost Tour, Co Founder of the Landed Arts Festival, Instructor at the Haliburton School of the Arts and Co chair of the Huntsville Art Society.
