Do you need a girl’s night out? Join us for a fun filled fascinator night! Halloween is quickly approaching and what could be better for dress up than a one of a kind femme fatale headpiece or a spooky fascinator.
During the class you will learn how to manipulate sinamay, the straw-like woven fabric that is used to create flowers, leaves and shapes on hats in the fashion world. Using sinamay and other design elements such as feathers, netting, straw and Halloween motifs, you will create your own one of a kind fascinator. Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston, a costume designer, who also trained and worked as a milliner in theatre for years, will guide you through the sculptural process of building a headpiece.
No experience necessary. All materials provided, including a special treat from BRØD bread & pastry!
