Created by FACTS, the Deluxe Hand Care Package features both the Hand Care Kit and the Online Hand Care Class to take care of your hands. Included in the kit are Lavender Epsom Salts and Lavender Hand Salve produced by Bayfield Lavender Farm, located in Huron County, and a Gua Sha massage stone. These heart shape stones can help you massage your hands, applying an even pressure for surface work and specific pressure for trigger point therapy. The online massage class, available on Friday February 18th at 7pm is lead by Melissa Boven, a Registered Massage Therapist. During the class she will guide you through a soothing hand soak and demonstrate how to massage your hands and forearms in order to relieve tension and pain in your joints and muscles. Melissa will teach you massage techniques, stretches and tips on how to care for your hard working hands.
