Do you have a crochet project that you need some help with? Is there a crochet pattern you find daunting? Then our Crochet Projects Night is for you! Bring your own personal project to a two hour session and Cathy will offer demos, tricks and encouragement while she guides you through your stitched creation. During the holiday session Cathy will be available to teach the graphghan colour technique with the tree pillow as a project. Cathy is an expert at crochet and fantastic at helping everyone at this social night out.

Cathy Nethery is an avid fabric artist and crochet genius. Specializing in intricate crochet blankets, Cathy continually wows her friends, neighbours and family with her stunning crochet creations. Curling up with one of Cathy’s blankets is a pure joy and act of love, as her blankets have comforted, nurtured and warmed for over three decades. Continually challenging herself with new patterns and inspired by her obsession with yarns, Cathy channels her love and creative energy into each blanket she makes.
Cathy Nethery has lived in the Blyth area for the past 35 years with her husband Larry. Her passion for crochet grew as a creative outlet throughout her life. A mother of three grown children, 23 years as a Correctional Officer and the owner of the former BJ’s Cafe in Blyth, Cathy has many interests, skills and talents. Always looking for a creative expression, Cathy also creates stained glass, acrylic painting, pottery and macramé. Cathy loves travel, art, theatre and spending time at the beach and with her family.
