2 Socks at Once Knit Along

Imagine knitting two socks at once so they are finished at the same time!
During our two week knit along, Marijke Wagner will teach you the art of leaving behind second sock syndrome for good!
In this class, you will learn how to create two socks from the toe up. You will discover how to knit on one long circular needle to make two beautiful matching socks. Never have the fear of only having the motivation to knit one sock ever again!
Using hand dyed wool sock yarn, created by FACTS specifically for this project, your socks will develop with the same patterning on both socks to match beautifully. Marijke’s personal pattern creates a two-marled yarn effect, which in turn, creates a beautiful pair of extremely cozy socks that work up quickly. The socks have a white toe and cuff with variegated lines and flecks of colours in between.
(If you wish to dye your own wool yarn for this project, join us on March 4th to learn and experience the process of ice dyeing. A fun and social Saturday morning workshop.)
To take this intermediate knitting class, participants must confidently know how to knit a sock on double pointed needles and turn a heel.

Participants will need to bring Size US 6, 4.00 mm 40″ circular needles and 4 removable stitch markers in different colours.
Super wash merino wool and nylon yarn provided.
